Traditional Mince Pies

PRINT GUIDELINES:

We always aim to print your artwork as accurately as possible and in the highest quality. While we achieve great results in most cases, printing on food with edible ink is very different from traditional printing. To help ensure the best outcome, we recommend following the guidelines below when preparing your artwork:

Artwork Quality & Format

Please ensure your artwork is high quality and provided in JPG, PNG, or PDF format.
Low-resolution images such as screenshots, signatures, or similar files may appear blurred or pixelated and are not suitable for printing.

Colour Guidelines

Our printers use the CMYK colour system, so artwork prepared in this format will produce the most accurate results.

Please note that because we print with edible ink, slight colour variations may still occur.

Printing Surfaces

The final result may vary depending on the surface:

• Wafer paper absorbs more ink, so colours may appear slightly less vibrant compared to fondant.
• Dark backgrounds (such as black or navy) on wafer paper may cause the sheet to bend or warp. We recommend using lighter backgrounds or requesting fondant toppers instead.
• Fondant generally produces brighter and more consistent results.

Macaron Printing

Printing on macarons is done directly onto the surface. This means the base colour of the macaron may affect the final print.

Additionally, food printers do not print white ink, so any underlying colour will influence the appearance of the design.

Proofs & Samples

If you are unsure how your artwork will look once printed, you can request a sample print. This can be sent either physically or as a photo proof.

Storage & Shelf Life

Please note that printed logos and designs may not maintain their original appearance for the entire shelf life of the product. This can be affected by moisture, storage conditions, and the nature of edible printing.

For best results, we recommend using your items as soon as possible after receiving them and storing them according to the provided instructions.
